We’ve been having a wonderful time here at the Zadoc Brewster house. We went to the breakwater yesterday morning and after lunch went to the lighthouse at Pemaquid. Today we are getting ready for an excursion to Acadia. The area is so beautiful. Last night we went for a moonlit walk on the boardwalk here in Rockland. All those English pine pieces were a big draw for me, it’s my favorite decorative style. But as I always say, “It’s the Innkeepers who make the Inn,” and it has really has been a pleasure. We have traveled to the UK and Ireland many times, and actually scrapped a trip to England this fall, due to other commitments. So even if we couldn’t get to England this September, we were very happy to rent a lovely apt. in Coastal Maine, filled with English country style, and have the best of both worlds! The Zadoc Brewster house provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Although we were unfamiliar with the area when we arrived, we found all the information needed to explore the beauty of Rockland, ME.
